CUMC Disaster Relief Training

The Central UMC congregation is invited to attend training designed to create a Disaster Response Assessment Team.  The purpose of this team will be to go into a disaster area as soon as it is cleared by the emergency response agency and  determine the need for early response teams.  The skill sets needed are tree removal, tarping, mucking out, etc.  The number of people and teams needed, a time frame (when and for how long), mechanical equipment needed, and the number of care teams that are needed will be covered during the training.  Additional information can be securest at www.ngumic.org/detail/660.  Contact Barbara Robinson.
